We stopped by for a late lunch and were delighted by our meal. Located in the newly built complex of Thurd Avenue, the restaurant is located towards the front in one of the first buildings. There's plenty of parking and handicapped accessible spaces nearby. The interior is an upscale industrial setting, which is well lit and inviting. This setting would be ideal for a casual meal with friends and family or a business meeting. Our server Mike was friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. While they have a dedicated gluten-free menu for dinner, there's no designated menu for lunch, but Mike was able to advise me on what to order. They do have a dedicated gluten-free deep fryer and everything is communicated with the chef and manager. Our meal was delicious with the steaks cooked to our preferences and the truffle fries were great. I highly recommend this restaurant for a meal and look forward to coming back.
Thank you for being open on Thanksgiving and a huge shout out to all the servers and teams. Our server (sorry didn’t get her name! But red curly hair and absolutely delightful, we were there at 11:30am) was great with my grouchy and demanding mother in law and she literally made her happy which is not easy and made the experience so wonderful. Thank you so much!
It's a great place to have delicious foods with a nice enviornment experience.. the tomahawk steak was cooked to my perfection and the seafood tower was amazing also... totally hit the spot and a great place for a Birthday dinner
"The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night, creating a lively atmosphere. While it was a bit loud, it was still easy to hold a conversation. I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and garlic pistachio butter, and it was outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and exactly as requested. The sauce added a unique depth of flavor and a memorable finish to the meal. Truly impressive. Highly recommended.
Bancroft is amazing! We had lobster ravioli appetizer, filet mignon, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Service and atmosphere were top notch. Could not have been any better!
The restaurant has a great atmosphere — I really liked the decor and the overall vibe. The complimentary bread was a nice touch and very tasty. We started with oysters, which were fresh and delicious. For the mains, we ordered the 28-day aged ribeye and the filet mignon, both medium, but they came out well done. That said, the flavor of the ribeye was still very good, though the Bancroft sauce was just okay. The filet mignon also had good flavor despite being overcooked. We also tried the handmade pulled pork and ricotta ravioli with parmesan sauce, and that was a standout — really flavorful and well-balanced. For sides, the polenta and smashed potatoes were a bit underwhelming, but the fries were great — crispy and served with a slightly spicy ketchup that we really enjoyed. Service was very friendly throughout the meal. Overall, it was a great experience, just a few small details that kept it from being a perfect five stars.
A nice hometown feel where you feel comfortable but has the right amount of class for a business dinner and or a romantic dinner date. I have booke Bancroft for corporate dinners and looking to book more. They always graciously take care of dinner guests and have options for every foodie’s preference. If you get the seafood tower you will be amazed at the size of the shrimp. They are actually colossal! And I can’t forget to mention that I’ve never had a bad meal and they have top notch wine selections
I hosted my thirtieth birthday party at The Bancroft and it was absolutely perfect! From the beginning, Taylor their event manager was one of the kindest, professional, and organized individuals I have ever worked with planning any event. She was always available to answer any questions and made great recommendations. The set up of the Reid Room was perfect for my cocktail party. Every guest loved the food and drinks. Many guests kept talking about how they could not wait to come back! Our server Alaina was a rockstar. Hands down one of the best! She catered to my party of 20 people all by herself and it was so impressive. Wears so thankful for such a wonderful experience at Bancroft. Highly recommend!!!
